Research on Biological Warfare
The Homeland Security Foundation (HSF), Inc is interested in promoting research on issues of biological weapons and various diseases. Biological weapons are devices to deliberately disseminate disease producing organisms or toxins in food, water, insect vector and an aerosol. Public health officials, medical personnel, firefighters, military and other law enforcement need to be able to identify the most threatening of the biological weapons, specially those that require preparedness measures. The main purpose of the Research Program is to identify the correct medical response under the diverse mode of biological attacks. In addition, the Research Program will pursue developing models of institutional response, strategic preparedness and coordination to assure the readiness of the "first responders" to assist the general public. Funds from the private and public sectors will be secured to finance these type of research.
If you and/or your institution are interested in participating in this program, please, contact us and send us a letter of intention. Please, tell us in which capacity you and/or your institution are willing to participate and collaborate.
