You can help HSF in several ways:

  

1)      Sharing your ideas about HSF programs and how to make our communities safer.

                  

                                                         

                                                 

       

 

        2) Sponsoring a local HSF office in your State/City. Individuals, institutions and corporations are welcome to grant endowments to a HSF local office.  Please, see details about the endowment program.      

        3)      Supporting our organization financially. Make a donation and become a HSF sponsor. The contribution by individuals is $20.00 minimum and for  institutions and corporations is $500 minimum. We will provide you with a charitable receipt of your donation when you donate $250 or more (in accordance with IRS regulations). For donations of less than $250, you may use your billing statement. Please, select the areas below in which you like your contribution to be applied:

Cash Gifts

Gifts of cash are the most common form of contribution to our Foundation. A gift of cash is easy to do, and the gift is not subject to gift or estate taxation. A contribution postmarked in December is deductible for that tax year even if our Foundation receives it in January, provided the account against which the check was written had sufficient funds to cover it in December.

Gifts of cash are fully deductible up to 50% of your adjusted gross income (AGI). If the cash gift is large enough to exceed 50% of your AGI in the year of the gift, the remaining amount of the gift may be carried over and used as a deduction for up to 50% of your AGI until the gift amount is exhausted or up to five years, whichever comes first. The gift amount is removed from your estate.
